The Latin American Music Center presents Nicholas Mariscal, the winner of the third Latin American Music Recording Competition
DATE: February 28, 2013
The Latin American Music Center (LAMC) presents Nicholas Mariscal, the winner of the third Latin American Music Recording Competition:
Mariscal, a junior studying cello with Professor Eric Kim, will be recording a professional CD, fully produced by the LAMC in the next few months, but before going to the studio, he will perform the full repertoire in Auer Hall, on February 28th, at 8 p.m.
The solo cello recital will include pieces by the Argentine composers Alberto Ginastera and Oswaldo Golijov, Cuban composer Leo Brower and Venezuelan Paul Desene. The LAMC is looking forward to producing and sharing this exciting program by this young talented cellist!

• TIME: 8 p.m.

• WHERE: Auer Hall, second floor of the IU Simon Music Center, 200 S. Jordan Ave., Bloomington.
