“The Gurlz, a Pre-Valentines Day Concert at The Venue”
On Tuesday eve, February 12th, at 5:30pm. The Venue Fine Art & Gifts will host a special Pre-Valentines Day Concert by Bloomington’s own, The Gurlz. Originally four of Bloomington’s most accomplished song writers and performers, Sarah Flint, Suzette Weakley, Ginger Curry and Cathy Norton, joined to together to form the Gozpel Gurlz, a gospel vocal group. As their repertoire expanded, their name contracted, hence The Gurlz. . Their recent history includes feature performances at The I U Auditorium, the BuskirK-Chumley Theater, and several other local venues.
In anticipation of Valentines Day at The Venue, The Gurlz will present a selection of their favorite LOVE songs, performed solo and in harmony. The Venue will provide refreshments for the occasion. Our complete collection of special Valentines Gifts will also be on display for viewing and purchase. Free parking will be available in the lot at Fourth and Grant.
