The Friends of Art and the Fine Arts Library will host the Annual Fine Arts Library Benefit. The Fine Arts Library is a vital resource for art students, faculty, and the Bloomington community, and for 27 years, the Friends of Art has supported Fine Arts Library acquisitions by hosting this wonderful evening of fun, food, and friends. This year, Professor Tim Mather will present a free, public lecture entitled “Intriguing, Frightening & Mystifying: Pre-Columbian Ceramics Decoded” at 4:00 pm in Fine Arts room 102.
The Benefit reception (reservations required) will follow, and includes wine from Oliver Winery & tapas catered by Cynthia Moriarty Catering in the Fine Arts Library at 5:30 pm. With your purchase of a ticket to the Benefit, you will be able to choose and take home a unique ceramic plate hand-made by an Indiana University student or local artist from the Bloomington Clay Studio.
