Sixth Annual Percussive Dance Extravaganza
DATE: January 17, 2013
The Sixth Annual Percussive Dance Extravaganza, an evening of rhythmic footwork and live traditional music, is coming to Rhino's All-Ages Club on January 17, 2013. Brad Leftwich is the guest musician this year and the show will feature his fiddling, banjo playing, and singing. Additionally, Jim Nelson and Dedo Norris, of St Louis, will be anchoring the Old Time rhythm section on guitar, and bass, respectively. Jamie Gans on fiddle and Sam Bartlett on banjo and mandolin round out the stellar Old Time Band. Additional musicians include Grey Larsen, Eric Schedler, Tim Moore, and Dena El Saffar.

The show includes some great clogging, with new pieces and old favorites, as well as solos that stretch the breadth of what you've come to expect. Dancers are numerous and include Tamara Loewenthal, Annie Bartlett, Suz Edgar, Katie Zukof, Mary Beth Roska, Cliff Emery, Allana Radecki, and many more.

• TIME: 7:30 p.m.

• COST: $15 advance, $18 day of show
