Bloomington Songwriter Showcase
DATE: January 14, 2013
Briagha McTavish is a YOUNG writer – very young. She performed at the 2012 Blooming-Tunes Winner’s concert and simply tore the house down, singing her father’s (Neil McTavish) winning song, then wowing the audience with her own composition ‘Sick’. Also winning a spot on the Blooming-Tunes 2012 compilation CD is another young writer – Matt Pingel whose music is FAR more advance and entertaining than a guy this young should be capable of! Last but NOT least – is JASON WILBUR who has been a local celebrity for years, having a syndicated radio program called ‘In Search of a Song’. Jason is the long-time guitarist for John Prine who we all know and love. This is going to be a really good showcase and YOU can enjoy it for FREE – 8-10:00 pm this Monday evening at the Player’s Pub located at 424 South Walnut Street in Bloomington IN.
