Candlelight Vigil Against Violence
DATE: December 18, 2012
Gather to remember the dead and the families of Newtown, Connecticut and to demand action on gun control. This will be an interfaith, family-friendly event with two clear goals: healing and action to persuade our elected leaders to curb deadly weapons. We are also in support of care for the mentally ill. Please come out on Tuesday evening to show our legislators that we insist on courage as well as compassion. Sponsored by the Just Peace Task Force of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Bloomington, Indiana; further sponsorship and participation in formation.

• TIME: 6 p.m.

• COST: free and open to the public

• WHERE: Monroe County Courthouse, Bloomington.
