Staff/Board Dynamics

How do we distinguish between board responsibilities and those of the chief executive or staff? Where do those responsibilities overlap? How do the board, its members, and the staff navigate the complexities of community outreach? How can we strengthen this partnership?

This session covers how to refresh the relationship between the role of the CEO and the role of the board. We will look at how to develop effective board structures and processes for high performing organizations. It will also include a discussion of roles at which the board chair and board members can excel and how the board and staff can engage in mutually beneficial activities that ensure harmony in your organization.
