Let Heaven and Nature Swing

Stardusters Music announces its holiday concert, “Let Heaven and Nature Swing”
featuring the Stardusters Jazz Orchestra, Janiece Jaffe, the Starlighters Quintet and the 50 voices of the Unitarian Universalist Choir. The groups will perform your traditional holiday favorites, Christmas carols and beloved jazz tunes in the swing tradition of the big bands of the 30s, 40s and 50s.

You’ll delight to the swing arrangements of such favorites as Frosty the Snowman; Let It Snow, Let It Snow; Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy, Sleigh Ride, Winter Wonderland and many more.

The Unitarian Universalist Choir will join the Stardusters Jazz Orchestra in presenting traditional Christmas Carols including O Come All Ye Faithful, God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen, Silent Night, and others.

The program will close with the Glenn Miller arrangement of In The Christmas Mood featuring the entire ensemble.
