The Art of P. BASILLE NIKITCHENKO

On Friday November 16th, at 6 p.m., The Venue Fine Art & Gifts will host an Exhibit and Sale of the newest work of P. Basille Nikitchenko.
Pavel Basille Nikitchenko was born in Moscow, Russia, and entered the Moscow State Academy of Fine Art in 1983. From 1986-88, he participated in the Moscow Experimental Studio of Painting and Graphic Art. Pavel also studied with renowned Russian art professor Butoroff in his private art school in Moscow. In 1992 he served as the Art Director of the International Art Center of Moscow. In 1993, Nikitchenko founded the Independent Ivanov Art Agency within the International Association of Art Historians, and spent the next two years organizing exhibitions of modern Russian artists. 1995 took Nikitchenko to Prague, Czech Republic, where he worked and lived absorbing the beauty of that city, while also managing his own independent gallery.
In 2000 Pavel immigrated with his family to the United States and now resides in North Carolina. His exquisite oil paintings have been shown in many of this countries quality art galleries, and have become a part of many private collections.
The oil landscape paintings of P. Basille Nikitchenko are drenched with color and mood, taking the viewer on a trip to far away meadows and woodlands still untouched by modern intervention. With an equally colorful palate, his cityscapes capture, with a paucity of strokes, the warmth and charm of many of the worlds great cities, large and small. The Venue is pleased to present this exclusive showing of the Art of P. Basille Nikitchenko. Refreshments will be provided by The Venue, and Our complete collection of Fine Art and Gifts will also be on display for viewing and purchase. Free parking will be available in the lot on the corner of 4th and Grant.
This show will run at The Venue until November 29th.
