The IU Art Museum's monthly One-Hour Exhibition will feature Impressionism. Translating a style so closely associated with color into the printmaking medium proved challenging. This viewing, curated by Nan Brewer, the Glaubinger Curator of Works on Paper, includes works by Camille Pissarro, Édouard Manet, Edgar Degas, Mary Cassatt, Paul Signac, Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Henri-Edmund Cross, and Paul Cézanne that were chosen to illuminate how these nineteenth-century artists captured the Impressionist sense of atmosphere, movement, light, and impermanence with a more limited palette.

TIME: 3 p.m.

COST: free

WHERE: IU Art Museum, 1133 E. Seventh St., Bloomington. 855-5445
