Columbus CANstruction
DATE: February 18, 2013
Teams of architects, engineers, businesses and community groups will compete to design and build gigantic objects made from thousands of canned foods. While showcasing their extraordinary design and artistic talents, teams actually will be donating hundreds of thousands of pounds of food to aid in the fight to end hunger. The results: visually and structurally stunning canned art exhibits on view to the public in cities all across the country aimed at spotlighting hunger.

All of the food generated by the competitions is donated to local food banks for distribution to families in need.
