Unprecedented is the riveting story about the 2000 battle for the U.S. Presidency that was decided in Florida. From the moment the polls opened, it became clear that something was wrong. While the media focused on the controversy surrounding the poorly designed “Butterfly Ballot”, much larger civil rights issues were overlooked. The film serves as a cautionary tale, warning us that we must insist that our elections be conducted in a manner above reproach, and anything less undermines our faith in democracy.
