The Big Yellow School Bus: Remembering Carpenter Body Works
DATE: June 8, 2012
This exhibit celebrates the Carpenter Body Works, a major manufacturer in Mitchell, Indiana for many years. Generations of Lawrence Countians remember the sea of yellow school buses in a field east of old Indiana State Road 37. Visitors to this exhibit can learn more about the history of this important industry.
